Every two years Lauvers plans a week end spiritual renewal retreat for the whole church family. Central Oaks Heights of West Milton has been the retreat site for the past several years. Pleasant memories and milestones of spiritual growth have been the legacy of these events. From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, the entire time is dedicated to four speaker sessions, recreational times, a Saturday night talent show, morning prayer times, and great times sharing meals together. Special speakers have provided life changing input on topics from prayer and the glory of God to restoring foundations of family and marriages. These times have been encouraging, funny, convicting, up building, informative, and memorable.
