Worship

Worship at Lauvers has moved from a rather formal feeling to a more informal time with wide participation from the church family. Worship groups lead worship times with  hymns, choruses, and instrumental music. Many in the audience enjoy participating in short skits and dramas that catch the scriptural theme for the day. Preparing, praying, and trusting God for times of worship has led to it being the highlight of the week for many. Celebrating the good things God has provided and being grateful adds warmth and excitement week after week. You will feel comfortable in blue jeans or with a tie.

Many of the people who are part of the church family enjoy being part of a small group.  These groups are the basis of good friendships, interactions, sharing, caring, Bible studies, prayer times, and fun times. The groups typically meet twice a month.
